Funding Your Qualification

Financial support may be available through the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) for eligible learners undertaking qualifications at SCQF Levels 7–10.

The Part-Time Fee Grant can help cover the cost of tuition fees for approved qualifications, making it easier to gain a nationally recognised qualification while continuing to work. Eligibility is based on individual circumstances, including residency status, income and the qualification being studied.

 

Who May Be Eligible?

You may be eligible for SAAS Part-Time Fee Grant funding if you:

• Are ordinarily resident in Scotland

• Have an individual annual income of £25,000 or less

• Are studying an eligible qualification at SCQF Level 7–10

• Are not receiving funding through another government training programme at the same time

 

How to Apply

Once you have been accepted onto a qualification, you can apply directly to SAAS for funding support. Applications are completed online through the SAAS website, and funding decisions are made directly by SAAS.
