Moving & Handling Refresher

Our Moving and Handling Refresher Training course is designed to update and reinforce the knowledge and practical skills required for safe moving and handling practices within health and social care settings.

​The training revisits core principles including safe transfer techniques, risk assessment, correct use of moving and handling equipment, posture and body mechanics, and promoting the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of individuals receiving care. The course also provides updates on current best practice, legislation, and employer responsibilities.

​This refresher course supports ongoing compliance with the SSSC Codes of Practice, Health and Social Care Standards, Manual Handling Operations Regulations, and relevant health and safety legislation.

​Suitable for staff who have previously completed moving and handling training and require an update to maintain safe and effective working practices.
