The training covers medication responsibilities, safe administration procedures, record keeping, storage and disposal of medication, controlled drugs, reducing medication errors, and promoting person-centred care. Learners will also develop an understanding of consent, confidentiality, safeguarding, and accountability when supporting individuals with their medication needs.
This course is designed to support compliance with the SSSC Codes of Practice, Health and Social Care Standards, and relevant legislation and regulatory requirements within health and social care settings.
