Completing my SVQ in Social and Health Care was an important step in my personal and professional development. I was motivated by a desire to build my knowledge, gain a recognised qualification, and increase my confidence in my role within the care sector.

 

Although balancing work and study could be challenging at times, I found the experience extremely rewarding and it helped me develop new skills and reflect on my practice. A huge part of my success was the support I received from my amazing assessor, Amy, whose guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback made a real difference throughout my SVQ journey.

 

Achieving my SVQ in Social and Health Care has given me greater confidence in my abilities and has opened up new opportunities for growth within my career.

 

My advice to anyone considering an SVQ would be to believe in yourself, stay organised, and make full use of the support available, as the sense of achievement at the end is truly worth the effort.
